Wu-Yi Source™ weight loss plan is apparently centered on Wu-Yi, their own so-called “premium Chinese Slimming Tea”. It is important to note right off the bat that ‘Wu Yi Tea’ is simply oolong tea and can be purchased for 1/10th the cost from any grocery store. Additionally, there are a LOT of ‘Wu Yi Tea’ websites popping up because of the recent buzz surrounding the story, but one in particular has really been taking advantage of their customers in a big way: wu-yisource.com. This is a terrible company and customers should steer clear of them. As you can see this company’s customers loathe them. The tea taste horrible, they were tricked into an auto-bill program that they can’t seem to cancel, they were lied to about the price, and they can’t contact customer service to cancel the non-stop shipments of this tea priced 10X more than it should cost.

Wu-Yi Source claims their special, undisclosed blend of tea is sourced from Mt. Wu Yi Shan: "the most fertile and mineral-rich land you’ll find anywhere in China". Supposedly their tea director visits the mountain on an annual basis in order to select the yield of the highest standard. The goodness of Wu-Yi is due largely to the 17-point quality test he conducts on them before harvesting. That 17-point quality test must than justify the high price of the tea. However – our research shows this is just a made up story, the tea is simply oolong tea and can be purchased anywhere for pennies on the dollar for what Wu-YiSource.com is charging. And to be fair -- all Wu Yi Tea online companies are also ripping people off simply because of the buzz created around this tea recently.
For those of you out there looking to lose weight, this product probably works for less than 1% of users. If you want a good product that is worth your money, we recommend checking out products that are clinically proven and have an enthusiastic customer following. There are excellent diet pills with patented and clinically proven ingredients like Slim 10, Nuphedrine, and HoodiaP57. Browsing the Wu-Yi Source website is like perusing a supermarket bulletin board open to public notices for everything from garage sales to Shriner’s pancake breakfasts. What explains the appearance of the website is a small print disclaimer that reads:
“Results not typical. All individuals used Wu-Yi Tea and followed the Wu-Yi System to maintain proper diet and exercise. Individuals have been remunerated” --- Hence the plethora of before and after pictures, testimonials, articles, and outrageous claims. We have reviewed thousands of products and websites, and this one in particular takes the cake as one of the biggest rip-offs.

The real cost is $64.00/60 day supply/2 cups per day. However – here is what they trick you into: They tell you that you are getting a free trial and paying only for the shipping. They hide the terms and conditions very carefully that explain that you will be billed for the 60-day ‘Free Trial’ after 7 days if you don’t return it. Almost all customers never see this info and get billed $64 for tea they hate. Then the company makes it hard to cancel the program, and keeps sending you the tea every two months. Additionally – they do not offer refunds under any circumstances. What a terrible company.

• The website, as cheesy as it is, does emphasize exercise and diet to achieve weight loss. However, the before and after pictures on the site are definitely from people who achieved their weight loss from exercise and NOT from just taking the oolong tea.
