As fast as weight loss and other health supplements come on the scene, so too can they disappear quickly. Regulux is a digestive cleansing product formerly offered by the Dr. Newton’s Naturals supplement company. Although Regulux is no longer available for purchase, it continues to generate interest on the Internet. Like most digestive cleansing and detoxification products, Regulux claimed to offer users better digestive health and improved overall health as well. The company pointed to symptoms like fatigue, constipation, bloating and pain as evidence of digestive toxicity. Most products like this work by eliminating toxic buildup from the intestines and then replenishing the digestive system with nutrients and good bacteria.

An overview of other resources on the Internet, however, reveals that the site may not have contained a complete ingredients list and instead just stated that it contained natural herbs.

It seems that Regulux was a two part system. The first supplement in the Regulux system was likely to eliminate the toxic buildup within the digestive organs. Most two part colon cleansers work this way. The second step may have been to replenish nutrients and good bacteria naturally present in the body. Firsthand product information, though, was not plentiful at the time of this review.

Regulux was a two part digestive cleanser manufactured by Dr. Newton’s Naturals. It is not clear why the supplement is no longer available, but there seems to still be much interest in the product and how it worked. The makers of colon cleansing systems like these base their products on the notion that years of food and toxic matter build up in the colon resulting in negative symptoms. These symptoms include digestive distress, lack of mental clarity and fatigue, to name a few. By cleansing the intestines and the rest of the digestive system, colon cleansing products seek to return the body to a healthy, natural state. We cannot be certain what ingredients were in the Regulux system, nor can we know for certain exactly how it worked. What we do know is it was one of many similar two stage colon cleansing programs.
