This product contains caffeine which has been known to cause elevated heart rate, increased blood pressure, nervousness and insomnia. Yohimbe is also included which is odd since its primary strengths lie in male sexual enhancement and ties to weight loss are unproven.

This product can be bought on a few online outlets, but is not sold in stores. The 120 capsules bottle can last you for a month or more depending on your tolerance level. The website suggests you ultimately work up to three capsules, twice a day.

The Proxylean™ website contains the basics: ingredient list, supplement questions and answers, return policy, customer reviews, and contact information. It also contains links to advice on body part specific exercises (abdominal, arms, etc.), and healthy diet (this link provides basic information on the different types of foods and what they do in your body, such as carbohydrates, fiber, trans fats etc.). They provide an 800 number as well as question submission option. The website provides a lot of information but it is hard to tell what is really fact and what is fiction. All the customer reviews are generally the same and don’t give much detail about the actual impact of using the supplement. When we called the 800 number we were sent to voice mail and asked to leave a message.

Overall we were unable to find anything of substance that made this product unique from the other products on the market. The website is very vague and it is difficult to differentiate between fact and marketing hype. Proxylean™ does contain Green Tea and Caffeine which may increase metabolism, but other than that we were unable to see anything that set this product apart. Additionally, caffeine may be problematic for some people so users should beware. The four special components VURITEX™, KYOSOTINE™, CORONITEX™ and Pausinystalia Yohimbe just were not explained well enough, and we ended up having more questions than answers. The use of some ingredients often designated for other uses seemed odd and there was no clinical or scientific tie-in to explain their use in this product.
Bottom line, there are far better choices in the diet market. Consumers should choose a formula which contains a more modern fat-burner and an effective appetite suppressant if they need a diet supplement. Don’t forget to find a healthy diet and a good exercise program as well.
