Summary |
PowerNutra Extreme Detox
Just as there are toxins in the environment that harm nature, there are toxins in the environment that harm the human body. The body’s toxic hit list consists of
drugs (illegal, legal, and over-the-counter), heavy elements and metals, household chemicals and solvents, infections, herbicides and pesticides, alcohol,
air pollution, tobacco, water pollution, caffeine. Unless we move to a mountain in some uninhabited part of the planet, we have to live with toxins in our environment. If we are going to enjoy the modern conveniences to the 21st century, then we will also have to accept the diminishment of health that comes along with the conveniences. This fact has made way for an entire section in the health supplement market; it is known as detoxification. Detoxification therapies primarily target the digestive system of the body, but there are products that claim to cleanse other organs of the body as well.
PowerNutra has developed Extreme Detox for the digestive system. They rightly purport that the digestive system has a tremendous impact on the entire body. Their product is advertised as a gentle and effective way to help cleanse and maintain a healthier intestinal tract. Very little information is given about the way this product will actually detoxify the digestive tract, they must presume that the consumer will surmise from the product’s ingredient list what should be expected with the formula.

 | Final Thoughts |
|
An under active bowel can indeed cause toxins to be absorbed into the blood stream because digestion and elimination are slowed down. Flushing impurities from the body can be one of the steps we take to improve our health. However, detoxification should be maintained with a healthy diet, drinking plenty of water, and making the body move more than it sits! This particular product will probably flush your body alright, but there is more to detoxification than that. You may want to consider cleansing the other organs of the body by using the popular skin patches that pull impurities to the surface of the skin. They are convenient, inexpensive, organic, and have some support for their effectiveness.
