1-EZ Fat and Carb Blocker contains Chromium, Oat Bran, Chitosan, and White Kidney Bean.
Chromium is used to help regulate blood sugar levels, which may help with curb cravings for carbohydrates and sugar.
Chitosan is thought to prevent the absorption of bile and cholesterol in the body. It is derived from the exoskeleton of shellfish such as shrimp and crab. This ingredient should not be used by anyone with shellfish allergies or sensitivities. Additionally, Chitosan did very poorly in clinical trials and proved relatively ineffective.
White Kidney Bean prevents the body from turning starches into sugar in the body and being stored in the body as excess calories. Once again, we have an ingredient that did not show well in clinical trials, leaving its merit completely in doubt.
Although we like Oat bran and Chromium which are proven effective, we cannot say the same for Chitosan or White Kidney Bean. If you are hoping to eat whatever you want and then use these products to remove the carbs and fats from your system, we fear you will be immensely disappointed. You would do fat better to simply cut back on the amounts of these foods that you consume, rather than to try and block them after the fact.

We were unable to find any sort of quality guarantee or return policy on the Maximum International website, but most of the distributors of this product have their own return policy and guarantee. We encourage consumers to look into the return policy before purchasing this or any other product.

The Maximum International website contains a great deal of information. The company is very large and has several smaller companies or brands under it. 1-EZ Diet is their natural diet and weight loss supplement line. We were disappointed to see that the website did not provide more in-depth information about the product. We were also disappointed that we could not find any manufacturing information or quality guarantee on the website. For such a large company this information should be provided for consumers. We were able to find the company’s contact information and some product testimonials (none of them pertained to the Fat and Carb Blocker).

There are many other weight loss products in the market, and other ingredients that have shown to be much stronger in metabolizing fat and suppressing the appetite. We were disappointed that we did not find a quality guarantee of any kind on the Maximum International website and feel that consumers are better served by purchasing products from a company that stands behind their product.
If you are seeking a weight loss supplement, be sure and choose a product with ingredients that address both aspects of successful dieting. A proven fat-burner is needed to address excess fat on the arms, belly, hips, thighs and buttocks, and a modern appetite suppressant is needed to control caloric intake and help curb cravings. Effective weight loss happens when both dieting needs are addressed. Add a healthy eating plan, and exercise – and you will have success.
