NutriSystem is a company that offers a weight loss program delivered right to customers’ doorsteps. The deliveries include a breakfast, lunch, dinner, dessert, and two snacks for each of twenty-eight days. The meals are based on a low Glycemic Index formula and are also low fat. Additionally, the NutriSystem program offers counseling and support to its members. The downfall is that the food is NOT fresh and packaged. In order to get quality vegetables people need to add ingredients to their NutriSystem servings. So this is not the healthiest meal plan available, although it is based on portion control which is a solid way to lose weight.
