MyFreeDiet.com
You’ve heard it said, “Nothing in life is free” and when it comes to self-improvement and a healthy body, which is a rock-solidly true statement—it is hard work to change! We have to earn every positive change in our health and appearance with discipline, stick-to-i-tivness, and endurance. Today, there are thousands of books lining the shelves of bookstores promising transformation in a few easy steps, some absurdly declare that by the end of the day or week a “new you” can be expected. There are websites dedicated to profiting off of an individuals desire to change by glad-handing with “free advice” and turning a profit at the same time. While the advice and tips and helps a person can receive from books, websites, even supplements may be beneficial, no real change can happen without the individual doing the lion’s share of the work.
Before reviewing MyFreeDiet.com we want to issue this caveat, the website claims to be free but it is, and we quote, “a free service provided by the Basic Research family of companies. . . after you become a member your computer stores a "cookie" which means it remembers your information. . . “. Translated, when you browse the website as a member, a “cookie” (think gremlin or gnome or goblin, if you wish) collects (think steals or borrows temporarily) information for that “Basic Research family of companies”. The companies than inundate your inbox with advertising. If you are into junk mail, this may be quite exciting for you!

MyFreeDiet.com is the purveyor of all things diet and fitness. As you browse the site, the companies that sponsor the site surreptitiously pick up on clues about you in order to advertise through email. We took a cursory look at the fitness page on the website and found that it provides guidance for the beginner and intermediate exerciser, a chart to track calories burned during exercise and a guide to measure body mass index.

 | Conclusion |
|
Another thing about free stuff, free does not always translate into quality and reliability. Our best advice is if you are going to use MyFreeDiet.com, do so cautiously and on balance with sound nutrition and exercise science. There are so many products available on the market that it is sometimes quite difficult to ascertain what is worth the money and effort required before seeing possible results. After this multiple of important components is in place—moderate eating of fresh foods, adequate hydration with pure water, and daily exercise—then, and only then should a weight loss supplement be considered. There are modern appetite suppressants and thermogenics that are quite popular because they have shown some positive results for weight loss assistance. Generally, products backed with cited research, guarantees, and consumer testimonials are worthy of attention.
