Lipozene is supposedly completely made from Glucomannan, a fiber from the Konjac Root often found in weight loss supplements to act as an appetite suppressant. Lipozene is advertised as being “clinically proven to reduce body fat.” The advertisement claims that the product is safe and effective, and describes the product as being a “dietary fiber sponge that makes you feel full.” Glucomannan acts may help suppress food cravings. It is believed that Glucomannan reduces LDL cholesterol, blood lipid and blood sugar levels and may have a significant impact on weight loss. For this to occur, it is thought that consumers need one gram of Glucomannan taken with an 8-ounce glass of water, about one hour prior to meal. However, Glucomannan might bind with and hinder absorption of certain nutrients, so it is often recommended to take a multivitamin at a separate time.

On the main website Lipozene is doing a free trail offer where if you buy one bottle for $29.95 you will receive a second bottle for free. This seems to be a great deal, but when you look at the actual dosage instructions having one bottle does not appear to be sufficient. It is suggested by the producers of Lipozene that one should take a total of six capsules everyday for maximum effectiveness. So if that is true, than a 30 capsules bottle of Lipozene would only be good for 5 days! So even though they claim it is a free thirty day trial, it would appear to be incorrect.

The official website for Lipozene was not functional at the time this research was being done. We accessed it many times from several computers in different locations and always the results were the same. The home page would open for Lipozene, but whenever we tried to click on any of the links posted on the left hand of the screen, for instance the “Dosage Instruction”; we were abruptly brought to a blank white screen that said “page cannot be found”. This happened for everything we clicked on the website, except for the links that allowed you to purchase Lipozene and then check on your orders status. That we found to be a bit sketchy so to speak. There was some information that was beneficial to hear spoken on the non-stop video that plays on the home page. But not being able to actually use and explore the website made us very hesitant about Lipozene and we’re not sure we can recommend a product that we cannot learn completely about from the producers themselves.

We find it very hard to recommend Lipozene when we have had such problems in researching the product through its creators. We suggest that if you do feel inclined to try Lipozene research it through other websites designed to help you weed through the many weight loss programs and pills out there to find the best one for you. We like that Lipozene claims to be natural and effective, but without scientific or medical evidence or even testimonials from consumers we feel that there are other better documented products out there to use.
