Lateral Thigh Trainer As Seen On TV |

Review
Summary |
Walking is by far the most convenient, inexpensive, low-impact form of exercise. It’s most rewarding to walk in mild weather down a tree-lined county lane or a busy metropolitan street that’s alive with the chatter of life. One can use walking as alone time or a time to catch up with friends. You get what you put into it and the rewards roll back on your health many times over! When the weather doesn’t look inviting people often choose to have an indoor alternative for their daily exercise, it may mean walking the track of a fitness club or the local mall. Moreover, some even prefer to walk on treadmills while they watch their favorite television show. Treadmills can be expensive so some manufacturers have come up with solutions that are claimed to offer the same exercise without the large outlay of money. |

Advertising for the Lateral Thigh Trainer System claims it gives you two potent workouts in one machine. The walking motion with the machine is said to accomplish a fat burning cardio workout. The skating-like motion that can be done with the machine will apparently target more thigh muscles than the standard walking motion that is done with other “step” machines. A training manual that includes instruction for full body aerobic moves and toning moves for the legs is included. A few bonuses come with the purchase as well; a workout video, food plan, and a training computer that counts calories, strides, and workout time.

Aerobic exercise, such as walking, is critical for improving your fitness and your health. Our bodies were designed to move and when they don’t they rebel. We see evidence of that in doctor’s waiting rooms across the country. The Lateral Thigh Trainer does seem to offer convenience with its portability, but we question the quality of the machine. No product guarantee adds further doubt about this particular mini stepper. You may be better off finding other ways to perform aerobic exercise indoors if outdoors are not an option.
Aerobic exercise is only one side of the fitness coin, the other being anaerobic exercise, otherwise known as strength training. Core strengthening is the single most important strength training you can participate in because you build endurance in your torso. The muscles of the back, the abdomen, and the buttocks all support the spine - these muscles are referred to as core muscles. Anaerobic exercise is the only defense against deterioration of all muscles, especially the abdominal group. There is growing clinical evidence that proves muscle stimulation of certain muscle groups, primarily the abdominals, promotes strength and endurance in the muscle. The technology for this method is referred to as EMS (electric muscle stimulation). The technology has been used for athletic training and physical therapy for decades, but now some muscle strengthening products use the FDA approved EMS technology for personal fitness equipment. Here’s how the technology works for muscle training, by stimulating the nerves attached to the abdominal muscles, a stimulator causes the muscle groups to relax and contract naturally. The stimulators are contained in a belt to be worn around the torso. The EMS belts are small enough to wear beneath clothing and can “work” the abdominal muscles whether you are driving your car or sitting at your computer. You can even use the stimulator belts as you are taking that brisk walk that you love to take every morning. The low cost of muscle stimulators compared to the high cost of other in-home exercise equipment is an attractive feature for many people as well.

TheFlexBelt® -
The abdominal toning Flex Belt® is truly an awesome advance in technology. This device is by far the most effective we have ever seen of its kind. The results are astonishing – The Flex Belt is proven to work for everyone. In fact – in a clinical trial done with The Flex Belt, 100% of the participants received results in flattening, toning, and strengthening their stomach. The Flex Belt is not a gimmick – it is 100% medical science. It is the first EMS (Electric Muscle Stimulation) product of its kind cleared by the FDA as a class II medical device for direct to consumer sales. The Flex Belt literally flexes your stomach muscles for you so they get a very concentrated work out. It makes it so that anyone can exercise their abs anywhere and anytime and it does all the work for you. You can use it at work, around the house, while taking a walk, while exercising, watching TV etc. For consumers who don’t have the time to exercise or for those that may have tried to flatten and tone their stomachs through traditional exercise, this product is precisely what they’ve been looking for. It is also great for people that are in awesome shape and already have a great stomach – it will simply make it more strong and defined.
