GNC® combines vitamin B-12 that is believed to be a key vitamin that supports neurological function with an amino acid complex that includes phenylalanine to support positive mood balance.
L-phenylalanine is said to be found in most foods that contain protein such as beef, poultry, pork, fish, milk, yogurt, eggs, cheese, soy products, and certain nuts and seeds, so of course, whole food is the best source for the amino acid.
