Cordiphene is advertised as possessing “the most powerful fat-burning formula available without a prescription.” Furthermore, it claims to be the only supplement that combines two currently faddish ingredients: Cha de Bugre and Hoodia Gordonii. It should be noted that, when trying to access Cordiphene through its manufacturer’s website, the product was no longer available. However, through a different link, the Cordiphene website itself still exists. When the Clinical Proof tab is clicked, though, the visitor is redirected to the page indicating that Cordiphene has been discontinued. This can’t bode well for Cordiphene.

Cordiphene contains the following ingredients: Cha de Bugre and Hoodia Gordonii. Cha de Bugre, derived from a tree native to Brazil, supposedly offers the benefits of Ephedrine without the side effects. There is a supposed connection between Cha de Bugre and a diuretic function, as well as a more general or ambiguous weight loss function. It is said to decrease appetite, reduce cellulite, support the heart, and stimulate the body. Interestingly enough, the appetite suppression of Cha de Bugre is said to be twice as effective as that of Hoodia Gordonii. However, both ingredients, as mentioned above, are raging fads on the diet market, and so comparisons between the two are somewhat difficult to trust.
Hoodia Gordonii also known as Xhoba, is a succulent, which resembles, but is technically different from, a cactus. The plant belongs to the genus, Asclepiadaceae, and grows primarily in the Africa. A strong molecule, called P57, in Hoodia Gordonii can affect the nerve cells in the hypothalamus, which regulates the feeling of hunger by monitoring blood sugar levels. P57 is supposedly able to pose as glucose, but in a way that is “10,000 times stronger,” thereby convincing the hypothalamus that the body is not hungry.
Children and pregnant or nursing women should not take Cordiphene.

In addition, the somewhat inconvenient purchasing scheme is listed under a Terms & Conditions link with every click-to-buy button. For a company interested in selling its products and taking care of the people who buy them, Cordiphene sure seems to want the consumer to do a bit of work.

However, the consumer ought to not get his or her hopes up about the results of such supplements. If you are seeking a weight loss supplement, be sure and choose a product with ingredients that address both aspects of successful dieting. A proven fat-burner is needed to address excess fat on the arms, belly, hips, thighs and buttocks, and a modern appetite suppressant is needed to control caloric intake and help curb cravings.
