The site offers secure shopping, ample information on each piece of equipment and even some embedded videos in order to see the equipment in action. We were also pleased to see customer service information available on every page. The additional information regarding fitness and nutrition was also very nice to see since other sites may charge for similar tips. Overall, the site is attractive and easy to navigate, making it a great marketing tool for the company and its various products.

Body By Jake appears to be a legitimate company in the midst of many gimmick-based companies trying to make a quick buck. With an experienced founder and competitive pricing, Body By Jake may be a strong competitor in the fitness market. We were pleased to see both philanthropic efforts and cooperation with the Governor of California to go with this company’s credentials, but we were disappointed to find no scientific evidence for the equipment. The advertising was also a disappointment, proving to be more sex-oriented than product-oriented in some cases. This “As Seen on TV” product line, though, appears to be much less gimmicky than some of the other products available, and Jake Steinfeld’s personal commitment to healthier living gives a certain amount of confidence in the products he makes. The best way to lose weight safely is to exercise, eat healthier meals and drink plenty of water. Body By Jake may just be the exercise equipment dieters are looking for to ease into a routine without finding themselves overwhelmed.
