 |
Review
Summary |
If you’re familiar with Pilates exercises, then you’ve probably seen Pilates equipment designed to enhance the workout. AeroPilates has joined the field, offering consumers product options for body conditioning, strength training, endurance, flexibility, and improved posture and balance. With four different models available, Pilates practitioners have plenty of options for stepping things up a notch.
Of particular note is the Performer XP, which is a model useful for training the entire body. When combined with AeroPilates DVD workouts, consumers are supposed to experience stretching and strengthening in the arms, legs, back, neck, shoulders, abdominals, and torso. Added benefits might include a general sense of energy and centeredness.

 | Main Program and What it Does |
|
For those familiar with Pilates, the variety and challenge of the workout, as well as the design of Pilates equipment, will be a matter of course. But for those of us who are unfamiliar with Pilates, a bit of description might be in order.
The Performer XP lies flat on the ground. Using a system of heavy-duty elastic cords, pulleys, and a dual sliding track, users perform a wide variety of maneuvers, using – in turns – all the major areas of the body.
As the focus of Pilates exercise is the entire body, many of the exercises performed on the machine will require core muscle usage. This is, of course, good for general tone, balance, and stamina.
The Performer XP comes with a workout Level 1 DVD a Cardio Workout DVD, and a workout chart. It is our opinion that consumers ought to be able to use the Performer XP, in conjunction with the workouts, and supported by a healthy diet, in order to experience significant weight loss and health improvement.
